Attending SEPPA?
Wanna split a room? Have a get together?

Re: Attending SEPPA?
I'm thinking about hand delivering our prints there this year but I need to find out if I take take them with me once the judging is over. If I find out that I can then I'd be happy to split a few days.

Re: Attending SEPPA?
Greg - just check the deadlines - even though you are hand carrying your prints, you will still need to meet a deadline for placing your entry into the PPA computer and uploading your images (no matter if you are entering in print or file form), which will be probably about a week before the judging. The Districts are all handled through PPA, and all of them need to be entered into the computer in advance so that the IT people have time to get all of the entries in and downloaded before leaving Atlanta and coming to the judging. You can't just walk in at the print case deadline and enter your prints.

Re: Attending SEPPA?
Yeah, I knew all that Rick. The part I'm unsure of is how soon after the judging I can get them back. Not looking to attend the conference, just the print judging.

Re: Attending SEPPA?
At SouthWest, we usually pack up the prints late the afternoon before the last day of programming a few hours before the awards banquet. The cases are usually ready to be picked up after the first program on the last day of the convention. It's probably a similar timetable at SouthEast. If you are a part of the print crew and are leaving early, you may be able to sign out your case right after they finish packing up the prints. Are you planning on working on the SEPPA print crew?
