Default Why are some listed as CPP, CPP?

Just wondering, when looking up Certified Photographers in the "Find a Photographer" section, I noticed some are listed as CPP but then others are listed as: CPP, CPP. One is even listed as: CPP, M.Photog., CPP. Is there a significance to the double CPP listing?

I'm guessing that when the new management system changed over, it didn't quite read the older data exactly right.

If your business depends on you, you don't own a business-you have a job. And it's the worst job in the world because you're working for a lunatic... You can't close it when you want to, because if it's closed you don't get paid. You can't leave it when you want to, because if you leave there's nobody there to do the work. You can't sell it when you want to, because who wants to buy a job?

I wonder if the old "specialty" designations are showing up as a 2nd CPP...

That would explain why I have two.

Good catch. Which would support why the new system can't handle those designations.

When you find out... let me know because I am one of those "CPP, CPP" people... I thought it was something I did in my profile or something but I can't seem to figure out a way to get rid of one of them.

    I don't know - I'm listed as CPP, Cr.Photog, but I have a CPP and two endorsements.

My guess would be how the photographer first listed him/herself. If you listed your name as "John Johnson, CPP" in the name field, maybe?

This glitch goes beyond the find-a-photographer page. I was going through some old mail yesterday and came across my membership card that was mailed in August. On the front it read "Mr Greg Yager, CPP, CPP". The certificate that accompanied it however was printed correctly. Find the program that the page and cards have in common and the mystery will be solved.
