MASTER THE ART OF PHOTOGRAPHY WITH WEST COAST SCHOOL'S NEW ON LOCATION WORKSHOP
West Coast School of Professional Photography is going On Location to Napa, California on January 29 â€“ 31, 2006 at the River Terrace Inn. West Coast School is presenting the event that gives photographers of all types a chance to learn first hand how innovative business techniques can be applied to their own business.
Jennifer George Walker â€“ M. Photog.Cr., of San Diego, views photography as a conveyance of spiritual communication. Itâ€™s a silent but powerful exchange not only between artist and viewer, but between the artist and her deepest creativity. Jennifer will help you make the connection in her program â€œThe Creative Journey.â€
Tony Corbell â€“ Cr. Photog., API, of San Diego, has often been referred to as â€œthe lighting guyâ€ in the photo magazines. He will lead attendees on a journey through complete understanding of light control on location as he takes the group out into the beautiful vineyards of Napa to photograph prominent local citizens. Having room for only 40 students (currently only 16 spaces are available), the two-day workshop will feature two instructors each day. The event starts off with a Wine & Cheese Reception at the River Terrace Inn on Sunday evening. The two-day workshop begins on Monday, January 30th.
The event is reasonably priced at $250 for two full-days with each instructor for Professional Photographers of California and Professional Photographers of America members. â€œWe want to make this program affordable for all photographers and their staff,â€ says School Director, Tony Corbell. â€œIf theyâ€™ve made an investment in a membership with PPA or PPC, they get a discounted price on this workshop.â€ Non-members pay only a small amount more ($350 for the two-day workshop), but the discounted price gives a nod to the benefits of being a member of a professional association.
