Damaged Merit Print
Hello Guys......
If a merit print returns from competition with a damage - when sent on to nationals, will points be held back because it is flawed?
Thanks!Last edited by Jane_Ann_Long; 04-01-2006 at 12:32 AM.

Print Damage
[QUOTE=Jane Ann Long]Hello Guys......

Jane,
Great question, When prints are handeled as many times as they are for any competition some damage will occure.
When a print comes before the panel that has damage the judges are instructed to ignore the damage as they review the image.
As a judge, I know that when we see an image that the damage is not the fault of the maker the maker will always be given the benifit of the doubt.
Thanks for asking.
