Merits for Webinars?

Does anyone know if speakers now get merits for webinars? What about attendees? If one were to run a webinar NOT through PPA... what would be the process for getting speakers and/or attendees merits? Who do we speak to about that?

If I remember correctly, PPA does not currently include webinars as within the scope of PPA-Merited seminars. That might be something they do in the future, but it is not available now.

No, I know they passed speaker merits for PPA webinars at the board meeting at Imaging this year. I need more info for P.Con.

I think merit(s) were approved for the ones more than two hours in length.

Will I get merits for attending a webinar?
At the time, no merits are awarded for any webinar. They do not yet meet the requirements for a merit.

Clarification:
no merits for non PPA webinars. PPA webinars elicit merits (http://www.ppa.com/ppa-today-blog/ev...a-webinars.php)
