this is a composite of 4 different images...

1) boy with guitar
2) building
3) windows
4) close up of hands playing guitar

i would like to know if you see any possibility of this image being successful. is the spotlight on the window too strong?
i'm sure there are many other issues - just haven't thought of them myself and need some help.

hmmm... having trouble with photobucket. trying to post it again with vignette and border.

I like this concept and think it can be a really cool image-- I am not qualified to comment on merit worthiness but the first thing I notice is a light shift on the whole image from left to right. Personally, I would prefer if the building appeared evenly lit (perhaps darker) and then lighter right around the main subject (musician in window). FWIW!

Bonnie, I really like the idea but I have a hard time getting to the boy because he is so diffused by the window. I have that kind of glass in my bathroom and I know you can't see a shape even that defined . So it makes it seem like the "graffitti" is the main subject and by itself it's not strong enough to carry the image. This is probably not possible cause it looks like they are painted shut but could you go back and photograph with one window open? and place the boy in that open window? Or take the glass out of all the windows and make it look like clear glass that you are seeing through.

If you could make this look like it really is graffitti painted on the wall then this would be a good idea to use for EI comp.
