'Photography-Version 8' book
Are there any folks out there, who have already passed the written exam, who might like to recoup some of their expense on this book?Kirk Kief, Cr. Photog.

What sections to focus on for test?
Are there any particular sections of the Photography (8th Edition) book that one should pay particular attention to for the test?
I have been studying and plan to take the test in Dayton in March and am trying to make sure I am well prepared.
I know the test is supposed to be different in 2006, so maybe noone knows just yet, but any help is appreciated.

Studying for the exam
The study guide provided at certifiedphotographer.com roughly coorelates to the sections of the book. You will notice that the main headings are pretty close to the chapter titles and can thus skip large sections of the text.

Does "study guide" = Test Specification?Originally Posted by dmithofer
By "study guide", I assume you must be talking about the "Test Specification"
I could not find any other "study guide", so I assume that is what you are referring to. Thanks for your help!

Big Building with lots of books
Just wanted to let you know that I fininshed reading the book the other day, I got it from my local Library. They didn't have it, but due to the inter-library loan program I got it for 60 days at no cost to me. I would also like to add that it's a good book but all the information is available from other books, that cost lots less. I found it quite general in many areas, I had almost all the information available from other books that I have. Oh, one last thing, the publisher of the book has a website with online questions you can use to study.
Take care all.
