Some friends of mine and I are anxiously awaiting the results link to go live. Just wondering if anyone got to be there. I got some great feedback from someone who watched them judge a couple of my images my first year which was really helpful to me.
I was there working as part of the print crew. Post your iimage and I'll see if I remember it.

I saw the first and the last one but don't remember the score. I do remember that I saw the first one (the one with the pirate chest) when they were doing the "in's and out's" - but I don't remember if it was in the 80-81's or the 78-79's. Sorry - but there were a lot of images there.
No biggie. I know we all get anxious around print competitions. Interesting that the #1 went in the ins and outs because that was my "throw it in an finish the case" image. I didn't expect it to do very well. The fact that it was debated is encouraging.
Results are in. My worst year ever. First year getting no seals. I'm pretty crushed.

I may not be entering our district comp this year b/c I don't think I'll have anything worth submitting.... I only had one seal this past year, which was disappointing. I shoot mostly natural light outdoors, and those just don't seem to score well. I only submit what I shoot as part of my business. I know some set up shots with models specifically for comp.... If I were in a rush to get my masters, I think I'd do that.... but I'm in no hurry ;)
Sorry, I must have had a senior moment there - it couldn't have been in the ins and outs because of the score - oh well, I was in and out of the rooms all day, so I must have seen it when it was on the turntable to be judged and misremembered it as being in the review section - sorry 'bout that...Quote:
