Just found out I passed the image submission part of certification! Yippee!
That was the part I was most worried about, so that is a big stress relief.
On to the test in March...

Anyone else pass the image submission?

Good job, Jim!

Will you take the test at the PPIdaho convention?

Thanks all. Appreciate the words of encouragement.

Kim-
Yep, I'll be taking it at the convention. Time to do some refresher studying!

Hi Jim;

In all of my years being a C.P.P. proctor, and Liaison, I can tell you that many more people have trouble with the print submission than with the exam. So if you know your stuff you will have no problems getting 70 correct answers of of 100.

Congratulations, that's great news! Craig is right, most people have more trouble with the image submission than with the written.

Is there anything special in the print submission they are looking for? I am starting to gether images for this. Thanks!
Stephanie

Read the specs for submission requirements on the web site, then think more along the lines of preparing your images for print comp than for clients. Images prepared for clients as clients like them simply will not pass. Prepare as if for print comp: clients not centered, more art work, drama. Stay away from large groups of people, flat lighting. Watch your posing.

Hi Stephanie;

I always say to present images that would get at least get a score of 78, or better, in competition. So, high red ribbon quality or blue.
