Anyone have or know where to find the certified logo for use e.g. on business cards, etc?

You can download eps files from ppa.com

That's where I've been looking, to this point without success.

I had to have them send me an e-mail with the logos.

Marisa emailed me a larger CPP file, but there is a small file on the PPA website that you can simply right click to save image...

The file she sent me is 148kb.

Here is the link to download it: CPPLogo (http://216.77.188.54/coDataImages/p/Groups/345/345620/folders/265596/2211649Cert-Logobig.jpg)

Mark,

Log in at www.certifiedphotographer.com . You use the same login as you would on www.ppa.com . The logo is there for downloading.

Thanks, Jackie. The hard part was remembering the username/password. :D

If you can't remember your user name/password, try logging on to ppa.com and click the forgot password link, they will send you the information almost immediately.

Mark,

Don't forget to ask around some NH people, via Gene's blast or directly. some of us been Certified for a few years longer..... I realize the test was likely easier - 4x5 camera stuff then but no digital!

I'm all set, George. Jackie's advice got me there, and I had a kind soul email me a psd to boot.

I was tad sarcastic! When I became CPP, they sent us stats! Everything was totally mechanical in that life!

See ya tonight!

Hi George;

You are entirely correct. When I got certified in 1986, I got "camera ready" sheets of logos, and such, I could take to a printer. I didn't even own a computer till around 1995. I also remember getting a bunch of stickers with the logo.

New CPPs get the same packet as in 1986.

Do you all know if it would be okay if I print the logo on my business card in the same color as the rest of the text in my card?

The red really does not match my company colors.

I don't think Jack Reznicki will stand you up in front of your studio and rip off your buttons. However, it can be argued that if you change the colors, it's not the PPA logo anymore.

You could use one of the black and white versions.

The logo colors don't go with my marketing materials either, and the logo really sticks out like a sore thumb...and that hasn't been a bad thing either. I've had people ask me right away what PPA was because the logo popped right out at them. Then I get to tell them all about it, and why I belong, and how it benefits them.
