Hey guys. I am thinking about entering this in competition this fall and was hoping to get some feedback and maybe some ideas for a name.

Thanks, John

Hi John;

My 1st thought was " I hate when photographers tilt the camera". The I studied the posture and I got a deflated feeling from her pose. I thought that maybe she has been jilted ... abandoned for another woman. Her flowers hanging down and staring off as if watching something going away both say dejection to me. So, my title idea is "Jilted for Another" or just "Jilted". Here is how I envision it being presented.

Thanks Craig. Does camera tilt generally bring the same response from the majority of print judges? Just asking for future reference.

Does leveling the image improve the overall look. I also moved her right and down keeping her head/shoulders at the "thirds" intersection.

Thanks again.

It looks cropped in a little too close in this version, IMO. I'm also not crazy about the halo effect, especially in the last version. Not sure why it bothers me more in the last one, except that in the prior images it looked like a more natural if heavy vignette.

I disqualify myself as a judge, I'm not one. I didn't even sleep in a Holiday Inn Express last night so please take this as it's sent...a learner with enough experience to be dangerous!

Do you have one where her bouquet is not lost in the bush? Can her dress be smoothed out in the seams? Those things bother me and yeah, I also prefer the first one without the heavier vignette.
