I've been a member of this forum since it started. Why does it still say "new member" under my name?

The rating "new member" goes by how active you've been in the forum. Example, you've only posted about 15 posts, so you're still a "new member" even though you've been here probably a lot longer than some of the other "senior members". The reason that they become "senior members" is because they've posted a lot and are very active.

I think the cutoff is 25 or 30 posts, Cheri. Love the avatar, BTW.

Hi Cheri;

As Matt said, it goes by how many times you have posted. I responded to a recent post by you and welcomed you to the Forum. Given the few times you have posted I thought you just joined. I too joined when it 1st started but this is post #2750 for me. I really enjoyed teaching, when going for my Craftsman Degree, and still enjoy teaching and helping people. So, I challenge you to share your knowledge and expertise to help people on here.

Hi Cheri;

Matt is right, but here is...the rest of the story: The new member status automatically switches to senior member when you have 100 posts. I don't know why it's 100, I just know that's the way it is.

We'd love to hear from you more, jump on in, the water is fine!

On my screen you joined in Aug 05, and have 33 posts!
Craig was at NEIPP school in March; I was in Scott Dupras class.

As an artist, you ought to go to Marilyn Sholin's forum.
