Hi,

I'm entering the International Print Comp. this year and need opinions on these images. The first one is titled: "The Lady in the Water" the other is titled: "Bad to the Funnybone".

Any adivce or tips on making them better is greatly appreicated!!
Thanks!!

Hi Kelly;

Lady in the Water: move the subject layer to the right - the flower is too centered and the hand could go right with no problems. Use a more subtle color for the accent line.

The Clown: I would tone down the loud tie. Instead of a shade of red I would use a silver tone from the motor cycle for the accent line and much skinnier. It is way too wide now. And tone down the bright sliver on the gas tank. That is the brightest part of the image which would be fine if that was the center of interest. I would emphasize his red nose and the smoke.

I'm not sure about how the ladies reflection will do but I love the clown image and hope it merits.
