Hi Dave;

Sorry, the thing that grabs your attention is the refs arm. The point of interest should be the wrestlers. I don't see any way this can get out of the low 70's scores. Keep posting.

Hi Dave;

I played with your image a bit but don't see it doing well in competition. If you don't own one of the PPA Loan Collection, or General Collection books I recommend that you buy one or more. If you do a lot of sports images, look at the type of images that have gotten a merit.

This is one way I saw this image being presented. I used a grayscale mask and made it a step-mount.

Nice action shot but definitely not the kind of thing that scores well at a PPA competition. It might do well at a press photographers convention though. Portraits and landscapes tend to do well at PPA conventions.
