The only one I would say would definitly not do well is #6....that pink just screams at me.

Is this better??

Yes, but it is still last of the 6 for me....could be #1 of 6 for others.:)

Karen - The thing I notice is you could leave more space around the subjects - except for the senior girl - I would crop a little higher up on her leg. see how her thigh slightly bulges up on her front leg? I would crop right above that slight bulge. Also if possible is there anymore room in front of her - to camera left?

My least favorite is #5 - it just looks busy to me.

Hi Karen, Image #1 the feet look too dark. Image #2 The nose area and the front of the shoulder seem to draw my attention too much. I like the 2nd beach shot much better but I'd chose a mat color to go with the image, make it more muted.

If I cropped the senior girl at the upper thigh, where would be the best place to put her on the mat?
#2 should I make the boy smaller?
#1 does she need more space abover her head?
#5 I agree that this looks to busy, Holly, thanks for pointing that out.

Thanks for the suggestions, if anyone has more please let me know.

Yea - that's a way to fix the bulge. I just thought there was too much leg - would like the proportions better cropped a little higher. The bulge wasn't the main issue to me.

Enlarge her slightly and place her where she is now

#2 should I make the boy smaller?. Yes - IMO- also make 1,4 &6 smaller in the image

#1 does she need more space abover her head?. Definately IMO

I cropped higher on the thigh, but not much and slimmed it down. Do you think I should crop even higher?

I gave the little girl more room above her head, does that help with her placement?? And I lightened up her legs a bit.

I appreciate everyone's opinion. I'm working on my Master's so your input means alot.

If it were me I would crop even more of the legs - See that crease in the jeans on her back leg at the bottom of the frame? crop right above that. I like the new crop on the little girl much better. Could you post a close up of just her face so we can see the light pattern etc? It is just to small and my eyes are too middle aged to tell anything on this.
Thanks!
