Like many, my wife & I didn't leave as planned and stayed in San Antonio an extra day...

We strolled and shopped and marveled at the ice (rare in southern Louisiana too). These are a few photos taken before we left for home...

Hi Chip;

I love the image with all of the umbrellas ! It may not work for competition ... but could if Corel Painter was used.

However, it looks like an incredible image for a limited edition, museum style, ... once again if Painter was used and mounted on canvas !!!

Thanks, I'm actually working on a version of it in Painter now... but I'm new to Painter, so we'll see how it goes. Nice words, thanks again!

Hi Chip;

I once saw a similar image a friend of mine created. He did a Poloroid transfer and I'm pretty sure scored an 80 on it. I'll be anxious to see how you do with it in Painter. Keep in mind that the smudge tool in Photoshop can give you some interesting results.
