Hello All,

I've searched PPA.com for costs on certification without any results. What are the costs involved for the certification process?

Thanks,

Robin

Visit www.certifiedphotographer.com for more details, but here's a quick summary. The fees vary a little (er a lot) depending on whether you're a PPA member or not... but the costs I'm listing are for PPA members

CPP Application - $100
Photography 8e (http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/0131896091/sr=1-1/qid=1155567556/ref=sr_1_1/103-1192285-6408626?ie=UTF8&s=books) (if you choose to buy) - about $80
Submitting Your Images (cost to create 20 8x10s and ship, or cost to create DVD and ship) - this cost me at the most $10
there is no fee for the exam, but if you have to travel to get there......and if you stay the night, then add your hotel room
to remain certified there is an additional fee of $50 per year

The application fee is $100 if your a member of PPA or $500 if you're not. If you are a member there is an additional $50 a year certification fee. For Non-members there is not an annual fee, but they pay $300 to recertify.
