I'm flying in for the trade show Tuesday, is there ground transportation to the convention center?

Hey Stan,

If nobody is waiting there with a sign with your name on it I think the airport monorail connects with the light rail system that travels close to the convention center.

Ed, thanks for the info. I don't expect to see a sign, unless the Phoenix PD finds out..... :)

I took the light rail today after dropping my rental car back off at the airport. It took less than 30 minutes to get to the convention center from the airport using the sky train to the light rail. The sky train is free, the light rail metro pass is $2 for a one way trip, $4 for a day pass and $20 for a week pass. You buy your ticket at a vending machine at the end of the sky train leg of the trip.

I think a taxi ride is less than $20 and many hotels do have free shuttles also.

You may want to turn the audio for the video down slightly, I mixed it a bit too loud.

I'm in and out the same day, so the day pass looks great. Thanks.

Good directions, made it easy getting there and getting back to the airport.
