View Full Version : Hey Rick! Do we need vendor stickers for Set-up?

Last year we had a bit of a hassle trying to get in to help with Exhibit set-up because we needed a Vendor Sticker. Will we need one again this year? If so, where can we get one, and will they have our names on a list so they know who to give to. Figured I'd get it taken care of ahead of time if I can.
I'm coming in on Friday night, and staying at the Omni, so let me know if there is anything else you need help with.

Yeah, we'll probably need special stickers for the setup. I'll have Nikki or Lenny get a handful of them for those who are on the setup crew. Once I get there, I'll bring a list of the crew members for the people at the registration desk to check off - and maybe a couple of copies for the door guard so they know we're part of the setup crew.

Everyone on the setup crew should have received an email this morning with the details and a rundown of the setup routine. The positioning of the print display "trees" may change a little, but the diagram will geive you the general idea. If you have any questions, call me on my cell phone 504-388-8113. I will be out of town tomorrow and Sunday at a competition judging in Kansas City, so if you can't reach me over the weekend, that's the reason. Leave a message and I'll get back to you when I can. Also - just FYI - Greg and Cindy Yager are signed up to be on the crew again. I look forward to working with all of you.

OK everyone - one final reminder - tomorrow is set-up day for the Photographic Exhibit. Everyone who has signed up for the crew should have received an email. We will meet at noon tomorrow, Saturday, to set up the Print and Digital exhibits. See you all there tomorrow !!!

I sent out a THANK YOU email note to everyone on the print exhibit setup and teardown crew, and I hope that all of you have received it - but I also wanted to post a public THANK YOU to on the Forum all of you who helped. The PEC and I really appreciate all of your dedication. Things took a bit longer this year than planned, and all of you stuck around until the bitter end - both at setup and teardown. It's people like you that make this association fly - without people like you, we'd still be crawling. I hope that you will all decide to be a part of the print crew at next year's convention in Phoenix.
And remember, if there's anything that I can do to personally help any of you, just give me a call on my cell - you all have my number in the email. Y'all were GREAT ! AWESOME on Steroids !!!

The IPC will be held July28-31 at Gwinnett Technical College in Lawrenceville, Ga.
