View Full Version : Critique requested: Image submissions for required CPP images

02-17-2012, 06:02 PM
Im hoping for some honest critique on a few of the images I would like to enter for the image submission part of the CPP program. I have passed the written exam but would like to get some critique on my images before I send them in. Thank you! Im new to the forum so I apologize if these are posted in the wrong area.

Please be VERY HONEST and dont be afraid to tell me exactly what you think. I take critique as a way to grow and improve and never as an insult.

Here is a link to the set for the CPP images Im considering. Please ignore the rest of the images. I havent used flickr in over a year so theres lots of really old stuff on there as well.

Thank you!

Kayla, if you want an anonymous submission of these images, for feedback you can upload them to the CPP Upload segment of this forum. Here is the information to do that:

Welcome to the forum and congratulations on passing the written test!

There is no problem reviewing your images as you posted above but if you put them in the "Certification Image Upload Gallery" here in the forum you can upload them anonymously.

-This has the advantage that you can know what the feedback is without everyone in the world knowing if you are having problems.
-It places the reviews in one convenient area where the people who review don't have to jump from website to website.
-It allows others to see and learn from other anonymous submissions without just being lucky enough to come across this thread.

If you would like to do this here is the thread that tells you how to submit them: http://www.ppa.com/community/forums/showthread.php?t=13189

If you would like to have your review done at flicker I can do it but I can tell you right now that 4 of your 5 submissions have correctable problems. Posting a review there would not only allow photographers to see the comments but potential clients.

Let me know which way you want to go. I would be happy to help out either way.

Again we are happy to have you here and congratulations on passing the written.

Thank you! I will post them in the forum suggested. The names associated with anything I do online are not the same ones I use for business, I do a good job of keeping my personal seperated from my business for just that reason.
