print submissions for districts/IPC

Hi all - I submitted images to competition for the first time last year, but did digital submissions for all. Merited on two of the four, and am looking to submit prints this year instead...

Can someone please tell me what is typical in regard to mounting / print finishes. I did read the guidelines, but am wondering if there is a standard finish that would be best suited for the viewing conditions...

If anyone could chime in, I'd greatly appreciate it!

Hi Melissa,
It is a personal thing with several options. My choice is to have images printed on F-Surface paper and mounted on Sintra. This gives them a hi gloss finish without the use of laminate. Sintra is black so I don't have to marker up the edges like I used to do with Artboard. I do digital mats generally with a thin keyline. I hope others give you their choices.
