Thinking of entering my district competition and would love some feedback. I'm a newbie and would love some thoughts on if these are good candidates. Thanks in advance!

I'm on my iPhone so I can't judge details but I think the first and last have potential. Try flipping the first and a different cole may on the last.

Instead of a black mat on the first one try sampling a med/dark color from the blanket so it ties in better.

Maybe a blue key line on the second one sampled from the boy's shirt.

One more thing. On the second one, you need to move the image in the mat until the subject falls into the thirds.

Thanks Greg .. which direction do you like .. original or flipped?

I'm still leaning towards flipped.

Flipped lets your eye lead into the image, while the original is backward to how our eyes are trained to see.

Yep flipped, read from left to right and finish on the image instead of the blank space. I'm learning to see that.
