View Full Version : View images from past competitions?

Is there a place where I could view images from past competitions - district or IPC? Are they at all available to view (with the scores).
Just to get more of an idea on what scores well and what doesn't.
I'd love to see the 100score and the 90+ from last yrs northeast district comp.

I'm interested in that too.

Here's a re-broadcast of our most recent online competition.

The link to the video is about halfway down the page below the list of winners. The first link at the top of the page is directed to our main page.

The images from the IPC are not available for viewing on line. You can order the Loan and Showcase books from Marathon Press. You can also view a portion of the Loan Collection (the ASP Masters Loan Collection) on the ASP website. It's not the entire Loan Collection but it contains a sizeable portion of it and will provide you with some inspiration. See the link below...

Is that the video of the open judging competition held in December? I think that's the video of the live judging that I had to miss because of a shoot I had. If so, I will be watching it this week when I get the chance.

Thanks for posting the link!

You're welcome Avery and yes it is from December. There's a wealth of knowledge to be gained from seeing images scored and critiqued in competition. I've watched enough of them that I can usually guess the final score within 2 points.

Greg - I watched most of it Sunday evening. Had about 35 minutes left when I paused it for the night, and it timed out on me by morning. Anyway, it was very helpful, and I enjoyed watching it. Thanks for letting us have a preview. Once things settle down here, I'll try to get signed up for the ProPhoto Network. (Can't make the convention since I'm going to Michigan's next weekend).
