submitted anonymous images to gallery, but

[cpp_upload]

it is showing "image pending approval." Did I do something wrong in the file prepping or uploading? Or is this the normal process?

That's part of the normal process - hang on for a day or two and they'll go through the process and then will show up in the gallery.
