Braces removal?

I just went to the image submission page and noted this:

"Kindly note it is expected that you do all in your power to make your clients look their best. Removing blemishes, scars, braces, harsh lines etc. within reason is considered standard fare."

While, I have always removed blemishes, harsh lines, scars, etc, I've never removed braces from photos. Would a photo without braces removed disqualify a gallery? Or should they be removed before submission, even though they were not removed for the client?

emily, i have never removed braces for a client. If you did not remove them for the client, then I suggest you submit what you sell.
