Jackie's a rockstar. Her new residential studio is even in the best of the local historical neighborhoods, occupying one of the historical mansions.

I knew her when.

You both are so funny! I had no idea these posts were here until Jeff told me while in San Antonio!

Getting a degree was a great honor, but the education all of those attending is even greater- when you apply what you learned.

Something else that was very cool - I saw a lot of new ourppa'ers making new friends, a new 'group' developed, new friendships formed. It was fun to watch, having been one of the 'originals' here and growing a family of photographic friends from the same source.

The ourppa forum is a nice place and has an even greater purpose than answering questions - it also builds friendships and those here that attended the convention got a GREAT award in that. :)

We got a lot of great information. We made some new friends. I got to call Joe G. A schmuck in person :) It doesn't get much better than that.

That's funny! I did hear quite a bit of Yiddish around the convention center (surprisingly). I think many people use Yiddish words and don't even realize that they are doing it.

Hey Greg... you do know exactly what you said means, right? :D:D:eek:

Really?!?!

It was Keith's thread and he's too busy to defend it right now so it was bound to be hijacked sooner or later.

Glad to hear you didn't try to throw each other out of the plane or anything of that nature. Wish you could have stayed for the last party......it was....ummmm...interesting.....really!

Really !

Sorry - after the other night, I just can't help myself !

And thanks to everyone who helped with the print exhibit. We couldn't have done it without your help !

And if anyone wants to sign up to hang the prints again next year in N'Awlins - give me a call and I'll get you on the list !

Hey Rick, we had those prints down in 1 hour and 12 minutes :)

Rick_Massarini
01-20-2011, 05:54 PM
Actually, from when we actually started pulling them down to when they were all in the crates was only about 45 minutes - that's a new record ! With getting organized and everything it was an hour and some minutes. We had them packed up crated, the carts shrink wrapped, and ready to go in just over 2 hours. This was a record for the take down ! It usually takes an hour and a half to take them down and another hour or o to finish the packing up. The crew did a GREAT job ! Thanks everyone!

And for Greg - another --- Really !!!
