View Full Version : Ready for certification

so Ive had my book for a couple of years now and been toying with the idea of starting the certification process. This morning I decided - that's it! I'm doing it now! No more putting it off!
I go to the certified photographer site and can't find the application! It seems to have been moved... or perhaps if it were a snake, it would jump up and bite me! Either way, does someone know where I can find it?

Apparently now it's an online "declaration of candidacy" instead of the scanned PDF forms that were prior used. Here's the link: https://www.formstack.com/forms/?729244-fk5hpv15iO
It can be found under http://www.certifiedphotographer.com/cpp-certification/get-certified/CPP-declare-your-candidacy/
Good luck! I'd be happy to take a look at your images when you're ready. Feel free to email em' to me. (I get so frustrated with the PPA Gallery!)

Wat to go Melane! In order to make it easy for people to critique you portfolio I would recommend posting them as a private link on your website in a gallery format. What I mean is a single page with 20 thumbnails so they can see it first as a body of work and then they can enlarge each image to critique them individually. Make sure the page isn't linked to your website but rather a page that you have to enter the exact address in order to view. This will make it much easier for people to view your images and give you a thorough critique.
Here's the link to the page I set up and it seemed to work well for me.
Here is another link you might find useful.
Good luck and if I can help in any way please feel free to let me know.

Melane, go to Certify w/Sandy a register as well. They go through the book chapter by chapter. There are people there who will help you as well.

CWSP is a good place to ask questions about things you may not really understand. Plus all the webinars are archived, so you can watch them all.
