how to attend classes?

I'm registered and this is my first time to Imaging.
The site isn't clear about how you attend classes. Regular convention classes not the ones you have to purchase separately.
Do just show up for them? Are these classes with 500 people in them? I'm trying to understand how it can possibly work if it's all just 'open' to everyone.

The classes are held in large convention halls that can seat hundreds of people - and yes - there are some classes/programs that draw 500 people or more.
In Nashville, some of the programs were "standing-room-only", and the Fire Marshall had to close the room to prevent additional people from entering - this was the first time that has ever happened.
