I really only have one day to be at the convention, and really would rather spend it browsing the vendors, although I am sure I would learn a lot at the classes. Would anyone else suggest foregoing the classes to be able to browse the vendors? There are only a couple of good camera stores near me (within 1 hr) and I have never been able to browse backdrops, studio lighting, etc., and ASK QUESTIONS of those places. Any suggestions?

Christina,
There will be a number of the vendors that will have mini-sessions at their booth. Some of these are excellent ( i.e. Kodak, Nikon ect...) and might help you make the most of your time.
Good Luck,
Greg

with the exception of the first 1/2 hour of the trade show, the programming is shut down during the trade show!

Except for one Michael Gan who, I understand, will be lecturing extemporaneously on various subjects of high interest.

I myself would not miss out on any part of the offical classes to go to the Expo, but there are also sometimes little mini classes within the expo sponored by vendors that are pretty cool.
