Pre-Con are the pre convention classes that are offered from Thursday until Saturday. Some are multiple days and some are just a single day on various subjects.

Not positive about SepCon but I think it's one of the specialty sub groups of PPA. Think it's the sports group.

Just to add to what Joe said:

Sepcon = Society of Sport and Event Photographers (SEP) Convention
Their web site http://www.sepsociety.com and a list of classes http://www.sepsociety.com/i4a/pages/index.cfm?pageid=3279

Their classes at IUSA from IUSA web site http://imagingusa.org/classes/#SEPCON

I think Precon would include any classes that are given before the offical start of IUSA on Jan 10th. So any SEP or PPA classes on the 7th, 8th and 9th would be considered precon.
