Does anyone know if any labs or anything are giving away free expo passes? (I know this happens at a lot of the state/regional conferences, but not sure about IUSA.)

Most suppliers have trade show passes. Call up a supplier you use regularly and ask.

YES, and you could visit suppliers' websites to look for passes.
I am getting emails constantly.
One year I remember seeing people sign up for the pass on computers in entry area.
