Hi,
It's that time of year again. UGH! :) I would appreciate any thoughts on these images.
Thanks,
Mari

First off I see the top image posted both on this and the next thread. The darker one on the next thread is better. I am concerned about the dark "glow" around the right light house. This is common with this technique but it still bothers me. Next I do not know if this is a composit image or not, but there appears to be a different quality of light on the right side light than anywhere else in the image. Is there a spot light hitting that tower on the sides? Light bleeding throught the catwalk? All of which are ok if it can be answered in the viewers mind but better if the lighting is similar throughout the image.

Street sceen - This is a good image. Rather than take time pointing out the positives I would like to take time to address ways to make it stronger.
I think this image could possibly be better with out the technique. The lady has an umbrella so it is obviously rainy yet the image is etched sharp. The other thing is the image would be stronger if the lady had a darker or more vibrant coat on. As it is she blends into the image.

To be continued on next thread.
