Jeff, thanks Mr. 100! Heck yeah, I'll take the 99! But, I am going to work on the "spot" in the clouds that kept it from going 100 before regional judging.
Thanks Linda! Ron, thanks, I'm not sure you can see it here, but there's a spot in the clouds from the texture. Thanks Joe, I'm looking forward to meeting you!

OK John, here they are with their title and score. They didn't challenge these so didn't talk about these at all when they came up, just scored and was done. I never had a chance to ask the judges at the critique because I had a trade show booth the same time.
Spring Awakening - 81
The Final Journey - 79
Breakfast for One - 77

As I see it looks too bright on the leaf and it also has too much head room.
I would also consider flipping the image. The reason being the curve runs the viewer's eye out of the image.
Breakfast for one:
Though interesting. It lacks sharpness on this forum which also diminishes the overall impact.
Like the complimentary colors. Not sure about the Polaroid transfer edging, but don't know what I would do in it's place.
Thanks for showing them.

Thanks for your input John. By the way, it's not a Polaroid edge, it's a glass plate overlay.

Brilliant as always. I thought I already responded to this and to my horror I never gave my congratulations. You can sleep now! Ha. Beautiful work.

Hey Keith, thanks!!! That image was there and I don't know what happened to it. When I get home later today I'll check that out and get it back up!

I'm over it. . . Ha. What are you working on is the real question. I slept great last night by the way. So what are you working on? It's always interesting to watch people evolve. You are definitely not one to sit back. I admire that.

Right now I'm busy with pro photog commissions, so not much time to work on personal stuff. I have a few pieces in mind and lined up for after Christmas though!
