I have a question about the lighting for PPA print comp. I was told to look on here in the PEC area (which I can't find) and not only would it tell you what to meter the lights at but also the distance from the print, how high they are placed and what angle down. Can someone out there fill me in please?:) Thanks!

More than you ever want to know is in the Jury Manual.

Any idea why the set up for EI is different than Photographic open?

The computer info was interesting and good to know too.

Different judges with bad eyesight?

No idea actually... Someone one here must know.

It's the same lighting setup. At SEPPA they had a boom behind the judges with a strip light so they could pass the prints around. I've only seen it judged twice. The main setup is identical to Open. The method for judging is pretty much the same. What they are looking for is different.
