NILMDTS training

There was an email about how NILMDTS training counted towards the Masters program. I'm already signed up for the training through NILMDTS. My question is how do they know to link my PPA info with my NILMDTS info?

The 6.5 hour training course allows 1 educational merit. You will be given the merit at training(I suspect) and will need to fill it out and send it in.
