I'm getting better at self evaluation, but not REAL confident yet. So does anyone think any of these would be merit worth? I'm going to compete for the learning experience mostly but I'm about 3/4 of the way on my education merits for a Masters, but don't have any print points yet and would really like to get started on that part. Any help, suggestions, titles, anything you may deem of value as far as input, my ears and eyes are wide open.

Thanks in advance, I always appreciate any input anyone here is willing to give.

I'm a total novice to comp, but wanted you to know I love your work! It's edgy and different, and well-executed. The experts will have better input on comp-worthiness, but I might help later with titles. Post more--I like your style--

Thanks for the kind words Elizabeth! I'm hoping a Master or two will chime in :), I have some others I think will do well also but was just not sure about these. I'm guessing these would go high 70's, which I seem to be stuck on. Not bad, I've learned a lot which is what counts, but like I say I really want to start getting print merits toward the Masters. Scored a few 80+ at state and WPPI but just havn't seemed to find what I need to do for PPA merits yet.

I'm definately open to any suggestions you might have for titles. I sat in on the judging at state the last couple years and learned a LOT by doing that and I highly suggest it for the learning experience. Anyway in the process of sitting in on the judging I found how important the right title can be.

As they hit me..:)
#1 Open Door Policy..will do better if you flip the image horizontally. Might also look to see if concentrating on the stairs affects the impact of the message.
#2 No title yet Will depend a lot on whether or not there is any detail in the dark areas, and the title chosen. Looks like there is some smoothing needed on her face.
