Hi Everybody,
I am studying for the Certification exam in Phoenix. Are Alternative Processes and History of Photography included in the exam? Thanks

Alison

I think I remember maybe ONE question on alternative process... and it was fairly straightforward. Something like "Which of these is an alternative process for film developing?" And if you could eliminate 2 of the obviously digital terms, you were fine. (I might be remembering this from the study guide though... in which case, no there was nothing on it.)

Nothing on History of Photography. Darn...

i guess the test has changed quite a bit since i took it back in the mid eightys. you had to study the history of photography, and i recall there were several questions pertaining to history. i guess the biggest change would be it was all film based then. gosh, i'm feeling old! i also remember some question regarding darkroom alturnatives like poserization & solorazation etc.
