I will be teaching in SC at the Lamar Williamson School Sept. 29th - Oct. 2.

Painting Portraits in a Digital World

My workshop is a beginner’s course in "Painting Portraits in a Digital World". We will cover some easy techniques for watercolors, oils and pastels beginning with the prep work in Photoshop and then painting the images in Corel Painter. We also cover marketing and selling the painted portraits.

And maybe...depending on sponsors, we may have a printer and be able to print and stretch canvases in class.

Hi Cheri;

When yolu are back, please post, for everyone, who the school was named for and about the fantastic backgrounds he painted. I was lucky enough to attend programs with him a few times and he was amazing.

I'd especially like to know if any books and / or videos are available on how he made backgrounds. Lanarr was great and we lost him way too soon.

He was definatley a huge talent as a background painter and as a person! I have no idea on books or dvds he may have done!

Now...back to the topic of the class!!

This is a fun class and packed full of info! Come spend a few days at the beach and learn a fun and money making skill!! I would love to see ya'll there!
