How do I get Old Merit Points Back?

Hi,

I was a member of PPA from 1965 to 1973. I left my job and got out of photography. I rejoined PPA three years ago. I have 81/2 merit points from the '65-'73 period. I called National in Atlanta and there is no record of my old points and was told they are more than likely in storage. I was told I would have to give my old PPA number so they can retrieve them. Well, I have looked and I can find no number but I did find my old merit certificates, and there is no PPA number on them, just my name.

Does anyone have an idea as to how I can get my merit point record updated?

For confirmation of your national merits you can probably fax copies of your certificates to Marissa Pitts at PPA headquarters. She is the merit coordinator. She can be reached at 800-339-5451 ext. 234. Contact her for specifics and to let her know what you are trying to do.
