View Full Version : Another portrait for review

I did a mother/son photoshoot yesterday and this one photo really struck me because of the bond between the mother and baby. I liked the babies bum in the photo, but am thinking the tighter crop may make it more about the relationship of mom and newborn.
I'd love some opinions/suggestions and feedback on whether either of these would be strong enough to do well at competition.

thanks as always!

I really like the tighter crop because it makes it more intimate. I bet the mom will love it. I cannot comment on comp.

Thanks for the comment. I agree. I like that tighter crop as well.
Now, in my editing, I have found another one that I really like... so comments on any of the three would be much appreciated.

Oh, I didn't really notice the that so tried the crop. It didn't really work as well when cropping out the fist. Here is a similar one that I took shortly after, but I think i like hte baby better in the first one. What do you think?
Also can be seen here bigger (fourth one down)

I do like the baby better in the first one. They are both portraits that a mom will love.

I keep finding more that I like better as I am editing. Here's another one that is much more environmental/non-traditional. I think it's my favorite thus far.
