what pretty conversions you have.

I think she's a little close to the edge, not sure...maybe she should be flipped?
also, the crooked line of her dress top bothers me a bit.

ETA: with this image, you could certainly clone and/or stretch a little bit of extra room for her :)

Hi Larry;

I agree 100%. She is way too far right. Bring up the rule of thirds grid to see how far off you are. I'd also suggest going with a light grey for the background layer instead of the stark white.

Unfortunately, I shot it that way. Should I move the image on the mat more to the left?

Try a very slim crop that goes from the left side of the print to the right side and only shows the eyes and a little bit above and below them. Just a thought.

You don't need much more room. It is so soft and light it would be easy to fake it w/cloning. Give it a try :)

I love this one. The line on the veil keeps drawing me out of the picture. should maybe it be cropped off all together? JMHO, which is very unqualified. :-)

Yes, Larry, I would show the grid (in Photoshop) and then move the image layer left so it's pretty much positioned for the 4th quadrant. Do you know how to set Photoshop to show thirds over an image ?

I know how to view the grid but not the quadrants

Hi Larry;

I'm posting a screen shot to show what to put in Photoshop Preferences.

Larry, when people speak about the quadrant they really just mean the intersection of the third lines.
