Ok.. I thought I was not entering this year, but now I am and of course I have 9 days to narrow down, rework, submit, and overnight to make the 4pm deadline. Story of my life. LOL... So I'd love help choosing and some CC- some I have reworked from print critiques and some... well... they are out of camera on a matte.
I get to enter 6- I have 8 possibilites.
This one is Vintage Riff.. yes for those of you music fans this a true Vintage Gibson guitar worth between $150,000 and $200,000. One version has a tiny gradient on the matte.
This one I have not title for and hate the matte color... suggestions?

Ok, one title idea, for now. On the little girl, at the window, my idea is:
"Shhhhhhhhhhhhh, my Mommy's Sleeping" .

I wasn't wowed by the guitar image but something kept drawing me back to it. Here is how I see it being presented. I call it "Clapton Wannabe".

I thought Clapton was a Fender guy.

I wonder how many judges would know what guitar he played ? Fender, Gibson, Mosrite, Les Paul ... how many could tell the difference ? I know that the Ventures' played Mosrite but then I own albums by them.

It is a Gibson Les Paul... I think I am having a hard time being objective about the image because the session was so interesting. I love his old hands... and he plays it upside down. He's opened for George Jones and Dot West. It was an incredibly interesting shoot.... but... I need to eliminate 2. Do you think that is one of the two I should eliminate?

I'd take out the bride and the tatooed woman.

Over the ummm... chicken.... LOL. The "chicken" is tack sharp but because I took it through chicken wire there is a little of the pattern on the background. When it went through critique one person told me it was fine and not distracting, in fact what they would expect, the other (a children's photographer) told me it looked like noise in the photo... it isn't, its very close chicken wire that's not in the plane of focus....
