Okay, pulling away from the client stuff, here are some personal images for possible competition maybe? I have not worked any up yet, any CC is welcome!

Stacey, I am not going to comment cause I know nothing...Just wanted to say I am glad you are going to enter. I am too and this will be my first time as well. So I hope you kick butt!:)

Andrea, I don't really know anything either...LOL. Thanks for the encouragement! I am not sure about kicking butt, but I will give competition a try!

I've only entered twice but have really tried to pay attention.

You don't get to explain that it's out of focus on purpose or because of a certain lens. They're only going to see that it IS soft...and boot it for that unless it really adds to the image. If the girls were sharp, there might be an allowance but it all just looks soft. It's interesting and I like it but..not for competition.

The top reddish flower...is it sharp in the middle? I love the color and lines of that one.

I have one very similar to the trees that I love but wouldn't use it for competition...there needs to be a center of interest for comp and the whole image is equal. The bottom seems to show camera movement that could hurt it, too.
