I'm considering entering my first print comp. Not sure what to go with (or if they are even good enough) and would love some feed-back!

you have to start sometime and now is a good time
the one of the horse the lighting on the horse is good but the lighting on the person is not great and the tone of her top is too light
the one of the two kissing. the lines going right through their heads
the little boy with a little burning and dodging might do ok

I agree with Stewart on the first two.
The boy) Cute boy and expression but the out of focus tree trunk is a big distraction as well as the stripes on his shirt.
The last one) there's no real directional lighting on her and the decorations on the shirt is a distraction as well. There are also some light areas in the background that draw the eye.
You have some nice images here and I'm sure your clients loved them, but comp is a whole different world, but it's a fun learning experience!

this is just some small things i would do to this image
this would probly score about 77-78 it is a good start
to move to the 80 you have to tell more of a story

Thank you Stewart and Cheri! I'm hoping that the print competition will improve my work. Make me really evaluate what I'm doing.
