This article inspired me to do something I have been saying I would do for two years -- and that is to start a blog. I have seen two podcasts and this article in the last two days touting the glories of SEO. And it is a good article as far as SEO goes, but SEO itself is a complete waste of time if the post-click experience (i.e. what happens once customers see that optimized listing) is hopeless. And I argue that it IS hopeless for every single photography ad I have ever tested! I suppose this appears to be a self-serving attempt to promote my blog, but I fervently believe that what I have to say is something that every photographer who is serious about the internet needs to understand. So my blog is really only two days old, is raw and unrefined, but I intend to continue to ad posts that will help photographers crack this nut. Here is a link to my first entry, inspired by this article: http://www.markhaffnerphotography.com/?p=13
